Installing the Shield Emblem
Step 1
Retrieve your Front Body assembly from Stage 89. Press the two pins of the Shield Emblem into the matching holes at this forward location, aligning it into the recess as shown:
Adding the Battery Compartment
Step 2

Secure this Battery Compartment into place with two (2) Type B screws:
Step 3
Fit the Switch into this slot of the Bottom Floor Panel as shown.
This Switch can be accidentally installed backwards. Make sure the two wires of this switch are closer to the Battery Compartment:
Secure the switch into place with two (2) Type O screws:
As the main power switch, it will be operated by sliding it back and forth on the underside of the car:
Step 4
Remove the Washer from the Screw with Plastic Washer, then insert the Screw through this hole of the Battery Compartment Cover:
Turn the Cover over and reinstall the Washer onto the exposed threads of the Screw, as shown.
This Washer will help ‘capture’ the screw and keep it from being easily lost while accessing the Battery Compartment:
Step 5
Slide the tabs of the Battery Compartment Cover into the Battery Compartment and lower the Cover into place:
Tighten the Screw with Plastic Washer to secure the Cover closed:
Thoughts
